Your Appointment & Fees

Bring your photo identification, insurance card and your Social Security number to your first appointment. If you request anonymous HIV testing, identification is not required.

Inability to Pay

Our fees vary depending on age, income, insurance and other factors. If you cannot pay for services, please tell us. No one will be turned away because of an inability to pay.

Washtenaw County Health Department accepts Medicaid, Blue Care Network, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (see a complete list of accepted plans here). Please have your card when scheduling and bring it with you to your appointment.

Currently, we cannot bill other private insurance. We accept cash, checks or Visa and Mastercard. If using cash, please bring bills smaller than $50.

No Insurance

No insurance? We can help you apply. Without insurance, there is $40 minimum charge for the office visit. If you need help paying for services, please let us know. Bring proof of your income (your last two pay stubs or tax information).
