Construction Code Board of Appeals
Meetings are held, as needed, on the third Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. at Western Washtenaw County Service Center.
To help to protect the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens and visitors of Washtenaw County, the Washtenaw County Building Department provides inspections of commercial and residential structures to ensure compliance with the State Building Code.
A permit is a license which grants legal permission to start construction of a building project. Before any construction or remodeling work begins, application for a permit must be made.
