Marriage records for marriages applied for in Washtenaw County are available from the Vital Records office. The index for marriage records filed after January 1959 can be searched here.
Certified copies of vital records are available through the Vital Records Office. All copies issued by this office are certified copies with a "raised" seal. The issuance of certified copies is governed by Michigan statutes. These statutes are available for inspection in the Vital Records office.
