Re-Inspections

About Re-InspectionsImage of retaining wall in a forest

The Soil Erosion Program will conduct re-inspections if a site is found to be in non-compliance. The Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control Program will notify the permit holder, by way of notice on site or by mail, if a re-inspection is needed. The notice will include all items on site that need to be fixed for compliance and the date by which all corrections shall be completed. Additional fees will be assessed for each re-inspection of the site. See the Washtenaw County Soil Erosion Program Fee Schedule (PDF) for further information.

Re-inspection can occur on permits that do not have control measures installed per the approved erosion control plan, are not installed correctly and / or not maintained throughout the construction process or are found to be in violation of the Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control permit.Image of a drain in dried mud
