Washtenaw County Community Mental Health (WCCMH) is the public mental health agency for everyone in the county.
While many of Michigan's public mental health agencies are limited in who they can serve, Washtenaw County is currently able to provide mental health services to all individuals in the county, regardless of their diagnosis, insurance coverage, age, or ability to pay for services.
Before these funding streams became available, WCCMH staff served Washtenaw County residents with Medicaid coverage who were also diagnosed with a severe and persistent mental illness, emotional disturbance, or intellectual or developmental disability.
