Drug Treatment Court Program Overview

The WCDTC is an 18-month program consisting of four phases, each designed to provide the treatment, supervision, and recovery support necessary to succeed in the program. 

The following is a brief overview of the program and phase requirement:

Phase I - approximately 90 days

• Attend 7 recovery support meetings per week.  
• Attend drug court review hearings every other week.
• Report to probation agent once per week.
• Comply with random drug testing, a minimum of twice per week.
• Obtain a sponsor or mentor.
• Comply with 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM curfew, except for school or work.
• Seek full-time employment, enroll in school, or perform community service.
• Follow all treatment recommendations
• Meet with Recovery Support Specialist (RSS) as directed

Phase II - approximately 150 days

• Attend 5 recovery support meetings per week.
• Attend drug court review hearings every other week.
• Report to probation agent once per week.
• Comply with random drug testing, a minimum of twice per week.
• Maintain a sponsor or mentor. • Comply with 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM curfew, except for school or work.
• Seek and maintain full-time employment, enroll in school, or perform community service.
• Follow all treatment recommendations.
• Meet with Recovery Support Specialist (RSS) as directed. 

Phase III - approximately 150 days

• Attend 3 recovery support meetings per week.
• Attend monthly drug court review hearings.
• Report to probation agent twice per month.
• Comply with random drug testing, a minimum of twice per week.
• Maintain a sponsor or mentor. • Comply with 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM curfew, except for school or work.
• Maintain full-time employment, enroll in school, or perform community service.
• Follow all treatment recommendations.
• Meet with Recovery Support Specialist (RSS) as directed. 

Phase IV - approximately 150 days

• Attend 3 recovery support meetings per week.
• Attend monthly drug court review hearings.
• Report to probation agent twice per month.
• Comply with random drug testing, as directed.
• Maintain a sponsor or mentor.
• Comply with 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM curfew, except for school or work.
• Maintain full-time employment, enroll in school, or perform community service.
• Follow all treatment recommendations.
• Meet with Recovery Support Specialist (RSS) as directed.
• Pay off all court costs and fines before graduation.
