Free Transportation to COVID-19 Vaccine Sites

Transportation is available to help you get to your vaccination site. 

Vaccinate Washtenaw and Feonix - Mobility Rising

For any resident of any age with any kind of barrier to transportation, Vaccinate Washtenaw will provide fare-free transportation to and from the vaccinate site. Transportation will be booked through the AARP [email protected]+ Program, powered by Feonix - Mobility Rising. It's a one phone call process to book a ride. 

Passengers simply call 844-900-4892 and say that they would like to book a ride to their vaccination appointment with the Vaccinate Washtenaw Program.

Ypsilanti at EMU Convocation Center (TheRide)

The Ride operates a free shuttle service to the Convocation Center Wednesdays through Saturdays from 10am - 4 pm. Free FlexRide and A-Ride services also available. 

Shuttle Service

  • Ypsilanti shuttles start at the Ypsilanti Transit Center on Pearl St. and use the Route 5 boarding location
  • Ann Arbor shuttles start at the Blake Transit Center on 4th Avenue and use the Route 32 boarding location
  • Operates ever 30 minutes
  • Limited to 20 people per vehicle

A-Ride

  • Trips to EMU Convocation Center provided at no cost to customers with an A-Ride Identification Card. Mention you are traveling to the Convocation Center when making your reservation. 

FlexRide

  • Fixed route service in Ypsilanti, Pittsfield, Scio and Superior Townships to the EMU Convocation Center
  • One household per trip
  • Visit MyFlexRide.org or call 734-794-0377 to make a reservation
  • Services provided through Golden Limousine

Chelsea at Pierce Lake Elementary

Door-to-door service to Pierce Lake Elementary and back at no cost to riders. Reservations booking options include: 

Nurse on the Run Home Visits

If you are unable to go to a vaccination site, please contact us to ask about home visits through our Nurse on the Run program. Leave a message at 734-544-6700 or email [email protected].. You must meet homebound criteria to qualify for home visits.
