New Human Services Partnership Safety Net Funding Round
The 2022 New Human Services Partnership Safety Net Program funding round has closed, and the Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners will be considering the award recommendations made by the community grant review team at the upcoming BOC meeting on Wednesday, June 1. The BOC documents up for consideration are below:
- BOC Cover Letter for Safety Net Funding Recommendations
- BOC Resolution for Safety Net Funding Recommendations
- Summary Sheet for BOC of Safety Net Awards
The Ann Arbor City Council will consider these recommendations at one of their upcoming June meetings, either June 6 or June 20 (awaiting confirmation on when this will be added to the agenda).
As a reminder, this is one of three funding rounds in the New Human Services Partnership. If your agency or group is not a fit for this funding, it’s likely you may be for a future funding round, including the mini-grants (expected this summer) and the High-impact grants (expected this fall/winter).

The Community Reviewers represented the diversity of Washtenaw County well and we are aiming to do even better for the next funding round. We were proud of the racial and geographic diversity of the first group of community reviewers and hope to broaden the gender, income, and age diversity in the next group of reviewers. We encourage you to apply to participate in our next community review process using the Community Reviewer Application.
