Code of Ethics

The County of Washtenaw has a rigid code of ethics for its employees. The Purchasing Manager, Buyers, or any County staff shall not accept gifts or gratuities. While the Purchasing Manager, Buyers, or staff may lunch with vendors, they are encouraged to pay their own bills. There are occasions however, where it would be improper if staff were not to participate in a luncheon, where they and vendors are both in attendance.
