Home Rehabilitation Program

The Home Rehabilitation Program is administered by using federal HUD funds. It is designed to bring eligible property owners’ dwellings into compliance with common housing standards to provide safe, decent and affordable housing for Washtenaw County residents. The major components of the housing rehabilitation program include:

Assistance

Please call us if you are experiencing an emergency situation with your furnace, water heater or sewer line.

Assistance is available for income-eligible homeowners within an eligible Urban County jurisdiction. Assistance is available on a "first-come, first-served" basis. Due to community demand for the programs listed, it is expected there will be more applicants who apply than we can assist at the present time. There is a waiting list for qualified applicants who are not selected for the current cycle of funding. Call 734-544-3008 to inquire. View the Housing Rehabilitation Program Flyer (PDF).
