Day Camps

Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation features three sites for your child’s camp experience. Available to Kindergarten graduates through age 11, each camp features its own unique activities, with all hosting arts and crafts, swimming, Park Naturalist visits, nature activities, and outdoor and group games.

Rolling Hills, Independence Lake, and Meri Lou Murray Recreation Center Day Camps

Ranging from 8 to 11-week programs, our camps are structured to ensure your child has an unforgettable summer with lots of memories and fresh air.  Camps take place from 8am-6pm, Monday-Friday.

Rolling Hills is convenient for Milan, Saline, and Ypsilanti residents.
Independence Lake is convenient for Chelsea, Dexter, and Whitmore Lake residents.
MLMRC is convenient for Ann Arbor and Pittsfield residents.

Eastside Camps

Available Mondays-Thursdays and located near Sugarbrook and West Willow subdivisions.

Eastside Camps are convenient for Superior Township and Ypsilanti residents.

Camp Big Heart

Camp Big Heart is a week-long day camp experience at the Meri Lou Murray Recreation Center, designed for 13-30 year old Washtenaw County teenagers and young adults with moderate cognitive impairment.
