Join our Park Naturalists in exploring the natural areas of Washtenaw County through the Junior Naturalist Program.

Discover, investigate, and enjoy fun adventures in the outdoors!

These programs are geared towards kids ages 7 - 11.

This program is a year round series, and offers a chance to earn nature study tools to further naturalist skills. For each program attended, children receive a Junior Naturalist Badge towards a nature prize/tools. Nature prizes are tiered into categories based on earning four, six, or eight badges. Please note, the badge count is for one calendar year and does not carry over to the following year.
