ALERT! Please read:
1). You do not need an appointment to apply.........The Washtenaw County Department of Veterans Affairs is distributing Kroger's Food Vouchers to Washtenaw County Resident Veterans or Widows of Veterans. The Food Voucher Program (FVP) will be distributing $150.00 for a single Household and $300.00 for a family. THESE ARE FOR WASHTENAW COUNTY RESIDENTS ONLY.
We will distribute ONE voucher this year. The plan is to distribute TWO per year. Logistics for implementing FVP is in its pilot phase and further information about when these will be distributed next will be discussed in the near future. Please stop by our office and apply, no need to call if you are a Washtenaw County Resident Veteran or a Widow of a Washtenaw County Resident Veteran. Just bring your Driver's License and something to prove that you are a Veteran or if you are the Widow, bring your Driver's License and the late Veteran's information. Program ends 12/13/2023.
