    In Michigan, we are lucky enough to experience all sorts of water. Marshes, rivers, ponds, and Great Lakes. During this program we’ll discover how water is important to us, the plants, and animals, and we’ll create our own watershed systems on the beach and visit a marsh.     Explore the living world under logs and beneath leaves. We will meet our six-legged, eight-legged and no-legged friends hidden away in the shadows.     Weatherbee Woods Preserve is located on the far western boundary of the Rouge River Watershed. This Saturday, we are teaming up with Friends of the Rouge River for Rouge Rescue. Join us to remove garlic mustard and other invasive plants from the woods in order to improve the habitat for native plants and animals.
