The preserve’s woodlands are exploding with wildflowers and the many trees are starting to burst forth in spring leaves. Birds are migrating north again, and early butterflies can be spotted. We will hike in both lowland and upland habitats near the river and explore the abundant beauty that abounds. Boots that can get muddy are advised and expect to be on the trails for approximately 2 hours. Led by naturalist Elle Bogle. Pre-registration required. Email [email protected] to register.
