Ah, the crack of the golf ball on a perfect shot, the pop off a tree, the splash in the pond...well, it still feels good. Spring is in the air and opening day at Pierce Lake Golf Course is right around the corner on April 1 (anticipated date of opening is weather dependent)!
Shake off that winter rust and make Pierce Lake the place for all your golfing fun! There are several daily rates based on time and day, a variety of yearly memberships, evening league opportunities, and a range of openings for large and small golf outings. The pavilion provides seating for up to 160 people, making it perfect for tournaments. However, group numbers are determined by Michigan Department of Public Health guidelines to limit the spread of COVID-19.
Check out the amenities at the Frederick L. Barkley Golf Center including the pro-shop and snack bar with patio. New for 2021, the back nine has been repaved, for a smooth cart-riding experience.
Additionally, this year there are a few changes to make note of based on public health guidelines:
- Motorized golf carts available (two players per cart)
- Carts sanitized before each use, and hand sanitizer is available
- Masks required in Frederick L. Barkley Golf Center at all times
- All forms of payment accepted
New guidelines on course:
- No rakes and ball washers will be available on the course
- Flag sticks are not to be touched by players
