Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission (WCPARC) is committed to providing diverse recreation opportunities that reflect the needs and well-being of the community. As we look forward to spring and summer of 2021, we are developing plans to open our facilities, to the greatest extent possible, following the guidelines set forth by the State of Michigan. We will continue to work to overcome the obstacles that COVID-19 presents.
With that, we are planning to open Pierce Lake Golf Course, Rolling Hills Water Park, Blue Heron Bay Spray Park and the beach at Independence Lake this upcoming season. We are also planning to offer Day Camp at Rolling Hills County Park and Independence Lake County Park, and the Playground Camp at three Ypsilanti-area sites.
WCPARC is currently hiring for more than 300 seasonal positions at our park facilities. If you love working outdoors or interacting with the public, or would like to start a career in parks and recreation, there are a variety of positions available to suit your interest. Check out our Job Opportunities page on the website for a comprehensive list of openings for the 2021 season.
