Washtenaw County, in partnership with United Way of Washtenaw, hosted the 15th Annual Stuff the Bus event in August. Our totals are in! The event raised $20,109 in donated school supplies! These supplies were sorted and delivered to participating schools the 2nd week of August. All supplies will be distributed to students in need throughout the school year. Thank you to all of our partners in our community, who also collected school supplies and donated to the event. We could not hold this event each year without the support of our volunteers, Washtenaw County employees, our community partners and the public! We'd also like to give a special thanks to Bob Oliver, District Energy Manager for Ypsilanti Community Schools. Bob has been assisting us with this event since the inception. He ensures we have a location to unload the buses at each year, he helps to sort the donations and assists in delivering them to the schools!

Participating Schools who opted to receive donations this year include: Ypsilanti Community Schools, Ann Arbor Public Schools, Chelsea Public Schools, Whitmore Lake Public Schools, and Lincoln Consolidated Schools
Buses for the event were provided by Durham Transportation-Ann Arbor Public Schools.
