The National Weather Service has issued an Ice Storm Warning for Washtenaw County, beginning tomorrow afternoon. I have been in communication with the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) about the forecast. Right now, the plan is to proceed with the opening county operations like normal tomorrow morning. We will continue to monitor and then make a determination, based on conditions, up to and including early closure.
In the meantime, our facilities team will ensure the safety of our buildings, sidewalks, entryways, and parking lots. If you do identify a problem area, please do submit a ticket to the self-service portal.
