Much has been done in Washtenaw County to address the opioid epidemic, yet the death toll continues to rise. Multiple factors including opioid misuse, limited treatment resources/access and gaps in provider knowledge contribute to this problem. This summit will bring together addiction professionals, providers and the community to educate, increase awareness, destigmatize and explore community driven solutions to make an impact on opioid misuse and overdose in Washtenaw County.
