This position will be responsible for leading the racial equity efforts of Washtenaw County by building a vision for equity within the institution and partnerships across the county, by creating systems of transparency and accountability, and by implementing the recent unanimously passed Equity Policy. The ideal candidate will have experience in community work, management and leadership, with a demonstrated commitment to racial equity. Additionally, the candidate will possess qualities of cultural humility, relationship building, conflict management and initiative.
