On November 7, 2017, voters in Washtenaw County elected to levy a county-wide millage for the purposes of improving mental health and public safety within the county. The millage will be levied for a period of eight years, beginning in December of 2018 and extending through 2025, in an amount of up 1.0 mills, or $1 for every $1000 of taxable property.
