[ARCHIVED] Michigan Sustainability Cases

Fish Farm

Two students from the School for Sustainability and the Environment at the University of Michigan have put together a case study on rain gardens and green infrastructure.

You can read their case study on the Michigan Sustainability Cases website and you can listen to the podcast directly here. The podcast features our very own Deputy Commissioner, Harry Sheehan as well as Susan Bryan, our Rain Garden Coordinator. Two Master Rain Gardeners are also featured: Roger Moon and Cyndi Ives.

This rain garden case study will be used in the classroom at the University of Michigan to provide real world examples of current issues in stormwater management. We appreciate the work that was done by Callie, Ben and those that supported them at the UM and Michigan Sustainability Cases.
