[ARCHIVED] Coronavirus (COVID-19) Service Interruption

Treasurer’s Office Services During Coronavirus Closure:

  • Deadlines will be extended

  • Interest charges will be adjusted to reflect the closure

  • You may drop off delinquent tax payments in our drop-box. We won’t process the payments until we re-open, but the payment will be credited as of the date received.

  • Delinquent tax ACH payments will not be drawn as scheduled. We will resume payments once the office re-opens. And we will work with each customer regarding a plan to make up payments, if desired.

  • Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide tax certifications at this time.

  • Unfortunately, we will not be able to process dog licenses at this time.

  • All 2019 delinquent tax information has been uploaded onto our tax search website. All information is current through Friday, March 13.

  • Governor Whitmer has ordered an extension of the March 31, 2020 tax foreclosure redemption deadline to June 29, 2020.  This order only impacts the small number of properties foreclosed on February 20, 2020 as part of case #19-611-CZ. The Washtenaw County Treasurer will continue to share information as it becomes available.

Please stay safe during these unprecedented times.
